Alice Marie Williams

On Friday June 23, 2023 Alice M. Williams transitioned from this life while hospitalized at the Einstein Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.

She was the youngest daughter, born March 3, 1961 to the late Vernon L. Williams and Dorothy "EL" R. Williams in Culpeper, VA.

Alice M. Williams also known as "Lizzie" always brought a smile to everyone's face. She attended school in Culpeper Virginia. After graduating from Culpeper County High School. She went on to work in the medical field with her oldest sister Julia (Cookie) Roy at the Culpeper Reginal     Hospital.

Alice and her loving partner Christopher Johnson moved to Philadelphia in 1984. During this relationship they had four beautiful children. Alice worked hard and took care of her family. She was later diagnosed with kidney failure in 2015 but she never let the news of her illness break her spirit.  She embraced life and loved  all.

Alice (Lizzie) Williams was preceded in death by her parents; Vernon L. Williams and Dorothy "El" Roy Williams, sister Julia (Cookie) Roy, brothers; Earl Williams,    Robert (Red) Williams, Vernon Williams, Jr. and grandson Angel Noah Pagan.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory, her life partner Christopher Johnson, daughter Jylian R. Johnson, sons; Christian J. Johnson, Jeremy J. Williams Johnson and James C. Williams Johnson, grand-daughter Mya Marie Lynn Battles (arriving soon), sisters; Darlene Smith, Michele Roy and Charlene Williams. Brothers; Dallas John Roy, Richard Williams, Andrew Williams, Jesse Williams, Jerry Williams,   Larry  Williams, Charles Williams and Ernest Williams, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, other relatives  and friend.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 1, 2023 at Horizon Funeral Home, with a Family Visitation hour starting at 12:00 PM and Funeral Service to follow starting at 1:00 PM.
