Annie Fletcher Clanagan passed away at the age of 86 in Culpeper, Virginia. She was a loving, caring and devoted wife, mother, grand-mother, great grandmother, and aunt.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Milton and Ida Fletcher; three brothers: Johnny, Gene, and Bryant Fletcher; and two great grandchildren: Jamar, Jr. and Corey Clanagan.
Annie is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Robbie Clanagan and their five wonderful children: David Clanagan (Linda), Festus Clanagan (Helen), Theresa Clangan(Mac), Timmy Clanagan (Shirl), and Missy Clanagan; a number of loving step children, ten beautiful grandchildren a host of great grand children and three very special friends: Comora, Bessie, and Jackie.
Annie raised three of her grandchildren: Jamar, Ryan, and Jerome Clanagan; one great granddaughter: Azjha Clanagan; plus, a host of stepchildren.
Annie was born and raised in Rappahannock County, Washington, Virginia. She received her education in Rappahannock County and finished at Carver High School in Culpeper, Virginia. She was a member of Promise Land Baptist Church and the Mother of Abundant Life and Love Faithfulness Church. Annie was a domestic worker, nanny, cook, factory worker, nursing, etc, etc. She was an “Annie of all trades!” Annie always greeted you with a smile and a hug, she will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
