Annie Catherine Settle

Annie Catherine (Monroe) Settle, 96, was called home December 23, 2024. She was born November 27, 1928 to the late John and Emma (Keys) Monroe. She was married to the late William Ashby (Buck) Settle Sr. 

Annie spent her days as a devoted homemaker and caregiver. She enjoyed her family, front porch sitting, and soap operas the most. She will be remembered for the kindness and unconditional love she gave all she met her.

In addition to her parents and husband, Annie was preceeded in death by her siblings, Elwood Monroe, Daisy Monroe and twin brother, Robert Monroe. She was also preceeded in death by sons William (Billy) Settle and Richard (Coon) Settle and grandson, Christopher (Ceze) Settle.

Annie is survived by sons, Robert(Bobby) Settle and Ray (Punky) Settle as well as 14 grandchildren and numerous great-grand children. 

Annie will join her late husband at the National Cemetery.  A private graveside service will be held January 13, 2025.
