David was born in Warrenton, Virginia, at the Fauquier hospital on the 4th of October, 1976 to his parents Joan Marsee and David Owens.
David Elkins departed his life on Sunday, January 24th, 2021 at the age of 44 at the residence of his mother.
David was preceded in death by his loving wife, Jenny Tam Elkins, his father, David Owens, grandparents Charles and Ada Elkins, Catherine L. Nichols and Olie Crites, uncles Earl Elkins and his wife Bertha Elkins, and Charles Henry Elkins, aunts Elsie Elkins, Elnor Wright, Mable Moore, and Lucille Walker.
David Elkins is survived by his mother Joan Marsee, sister Tanya Montero, three nephews; Jajuan Montero, Anthony Moreno, and Christopher Moreno, one niece Angela Montero, a fiancé Tenesha Williams, three aunts; Pattie Bird, Karen Heflin, and Connie Darnelle, two uncles; Allen Elkins, his wife Beverly Elkins and Johnny Elkins, his wife Bonnie Elkins. He had many cousins and friends that loves and misses him.
David enjoyed the outdoors. He loved camping, hunting, fishing, swimming, and hiking trails. He was a sweet and gentle person that will be missed and his memories will be deeply cherished. He will forever and always live in our hearts.
