Dot was baptized at a young age and gave her life to Christ in her adulthood.  Dot was one of the founding members of Immanuel Christian Ministries.  She had very strong religious beliefs, attended church regularly until her health began to fail, always reading and quoting the bible, praying, listening to gospel music and working to get people to come to Christ and be saved.
