Henry Edward Lambert Obituary

Henry Edward Lambert (Mumpy) 70, Remington, Virginia departed this life and entered eternal rest on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at Fauquier Health surrounded by his loving family. Henry was born on April 25, 1955, in Plains, Virginia to the late Ben Noble Lambert and Maria King.

Henry was a hard-working man who spent most of his time working on a horse farm from Sunrise to Sunset.  Henry enjoyed everything pertaining to horses.  He had such a great knowledge of horses that there was no question he could not answer and no subject regarding horses, Henry could not teach.  Often, Henry’s boss referred to Henry as the “Horse Whisperer”.  In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his loving grand-children, teaching them life skills such as fishing, hunting, chopping wood but most importantly spoiling the youngest granddaughters.  Henry was a diehard Redskins fan or Commanders fan as they are called today.  He also enjoyed cooking and calling his kids to brag about the delicious meals, he made.  But before the call ended you can believe Henry would make a few jokes.  Henry truly enjoyed his family.

Henry was proceeded in death by his loving mother Maria King and father Ben Noble Lambert, four brothers; Jerry Lambert, Ben Noble Lambert, Jr., James Lambert and John Lambert, sister; Josephine Lambert, two children; Rose Mary Lambert and Jamal Lambert, granddaughter Jakayla Lambert and son-n-law Anthony Mosley.

Henry is survived by his loving wife of many years, Linda Lambert and his sister Maggie Lambert (John), brother Billy Lambert, two daughters; Melissa Lambert and Terry Lambert (Hydeia), grandchildren; Grace Lambert, Starasia Horton, Chenille Lambert, Jaheim Lambert, Markeise Mosley, Demontae Webster, Shahiem Webster, Tyekwan Webster, Tamaia Hamlett, Shaniyah Hamlett, Isaiah Lambert, Darian Lambert and a host of nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.  Henry will truly be missed by all his family members and friends
