William L Young

Our beloved brother William L. Young, departed this life on the afternoon of May 16, 2025 at the age of 69. 

William was born to loving    parents; Lathern L. Young and Minnie Wise Young.

William was raised in Culpeper, Virginia.  He graduated from the Culpeper County Schools System. 

William was an avid card player and domino’s player.  He enjoyed listening to his favorite music.  While William enjoyed going fishing for all the peace and tranquility it would bring, he really loved spending time with his family. He also enjoyed times shared with friends.

William leave behind to cherish his loving memories, his very special friend Mary, his sister-in-law Hortence, his sisters; Joan, Barbara, Carolyn and Lind, his  brothers; Joe and Otis.  Alone with a host of loving nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025 at Horizon Funeral Home. Visitation & Viewing starts at 12:00 P.M. Funeral Service Starts at 1:00 P.M.
